Maori Pioneer Battalion Timeline

For inquiry we got to learn more about the Maori battalion and also create a timeline. What this timeline is about is how brave the men were when they fought in WW1 through out the years. The people I have been working with is Joel, Joshua V and Marieta. What we also did was put our information that we found on different sites and create a timeline about The Maori pioneer battalion and also write what happened in the start and write what happened at the end.

Questions we want to know the answer to

Today we got to do a challenge about WW1 for inquiry. The person I have been working with is Sky. What we did was write two question and then give our answer with proof as well. The reason why we choose these questions is because we thought these questions were very interesting. What I really like about doing this challenge is how we got to learn more about WW1 and learn the story behind WW1.

Facts and information about WW1

Today we got to create a table on a Google Drawing for inquiry. What we did was we put facts on the what we remember about WW1 and we had 5 minutes to wright is much things we remembered . Than we put ticks on the other side to show if we got it correct and than we put details next to the three ticks. The people I worked with was Hajera and Nickaela.

VC Research

Today in the morning we got to do the vc research. The person who took it was Yvonne and her team. The two activity we did the Magic Window and VR Cardboard. What we got to do for the Magic Window was they got to travel from Pakuranga to Panmure. The team and Yvonne came from the Auckland university.  

Bridges - Venn diagram

For inquiry we have been working on bridges. What we got to do was we got to compare the golden gate bridge and the habour bridge. What a Venn diagram is is when we have three sections one side is a place than facts then on the other side its the same thing but a different place than in the middle you do what both places have in common. The person I have worked with is Marieta. What I really like about this is we get to learn more about bridges.

Career

Our focus for this morning was about careers. What we did was we got to go on this site called career quest. The career that I got was a data analyst What we got to do was answer 78 questions. What I really like about learni ng about careers is we get to learn more about different jobs that we didn't know about.

Reflex Experiment

Our learning today for inquiry was about reflex. What we did was create a graph about how fast we could catch it. We had three tests. The first test was the vision test, the second test was the hearing test and the last test was the tactile test. What we use to do these tests was we used a ruler. The people in my group were Nyjah, Fraidon and Jeremiah K. The test that my group were best at test 3. What I really like about this graph is that it show how fast we can use our reflex. 

Body System

Today for inquiry we got to learn more about the human body. What we got to do is play a game about the human body. How you play this game is you have to put all the parts were it needs to go. What I really like about this is I got to learn more about the human body.

Mnumonic

For inquiry we are learning about the human body and we are using Mrs Gren. What Mrs Gren stands for is Movement, Respiration, Sensitivity, Growth, Reproduction, Excretion and Nutrition. Is fire a living thing?. The person I have been working with is Nickaela. 

Professor Stephen Hawking

Sadly Professor Stephen Hawking passed away last week. Today we have been finishing of a DLO we have created that is based on Professor Stephen Hawking. What we did for this DLO is that we got to answer some question but put it in our own words. This DLO is meant to show how Professor Stephen Hawking was a very good person and how he was a very famous Physicist. What I really like about making this DLO is that I got to learn more about Professor Stephen Hawking.

Why it's great to be me

Our focus for today was when I got to do a  word cloud with my group to add some words to our word cloud to explain why it is great to be me. What I fine great about myself is that I am always cheerful and that I have dreams when I grow up. The people I have been working with our Viva,Jorja and Nazella. The thing I have find fun about this activity is that I have learned more things about me.

Careers Quest - Artist

Our focus for the after noon was we had to finished our careers Quest poster. What I have done was I got one of the careers I would might want to be in the future and I saw artist on my list so I picked it and I did a poster about it on a Google Drawing and I put alot of information about a Artist. What I liked about this activity was I got to learn about what type of skills artist have. 

Why is it so important to keep oral storytelling alive

Inquiry

Today me,Ma'ata,Javeylor and Hajera have been working together to create one big opinion out of all of our opinion and we also had to agree. We had to talk about how we can stop people from littering.

Today I did a DLO with Javeylor on Recycling Milk Containers. What we did was tell how we felt and our opinion.

Inquiry DLO

Today I have been working on a Google Drawing about how long it takes to break down and I was also looking for  different kinds of materials. I really thought this was challenging because  I had to find an answer in different websites and answer the questions.

Today Me and Hejera  worked together on a Google drawing and made a DLO on How you can not waste food. This is  all about how you can not waste food in your house and at school.

People living in Auckland have been asked to conserve water

 Today I have been doing a blog post about why People living in Auckland have been asked to conserve water.This is linked to what we have been doing for our other inquiry work like water cycle and when we  were doing water care with sally.I have also use some of the 5 w's.We have been doing this topic because we have been learning about the water cycle and what conserve  means.

Omaru River

 Today I have been doing My Inquiry work on  Omaru River.I have been working by myself and I had to do on one side of the google drawing I had to do positive and on the other side I had to do bad and add picture about Omaru River and even had to put the name and link of the picture.
