New Zealand Shakeout Day

Today Joel and I found out information about shake out day. The rules that you have to follow while in a real earthquake is drop, cover and hold. Joel and I worked together to find out about the Christchurch earthquake and the Napier earthquake. We found some interesting facts about Christchurch and Napier earthquake.What we also did was learn more about shakeout day. 

Tech Reflection

Today we went down to Tamaki College. We went down in our sprat groups. Those groups are Digital Tech, Pewter Casting Tech and Food Tech. My group were in pewter Casting. What my group did was we got to create a Google Doc and put images in four boxes for four people and it got to be what we think that they would like and we got to create four column to be with the four boxes. What I really like about Pewter Casting is we get to make our own design of our chose and also give it to a person we think that we would like to give them. A design I chose was a boxing glove

Tech - Wood Work

Today I went down to Tamaki College and went to do wood work with a group of year 7. I am now up to cutting and I am about to glue the pieces  together.

Maths Strategy

 

This will show you guys what I have been learning for maths. And what I have been learning is my time tables and my skip counting. I really find skip counting better than my time tables because it is way easier than my time table.
